Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using iMee (the "Service", URL: imee.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. These terms may be updated from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Service Description

iMee provides AI-powered personality diagnostics and fortune readings. This Service is provided for entertainment purposes only and does not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or any other professional advice. Any decisions or actions taken based on diagnostic results are at your own risk and responsibility.

3. Eligibility

The Service is intended for users aged 13 and older. Users under 13 may not use the Service without parental consent. Users under 16 who wish to subscribe to iMee Pro must have parental consent.

4. User Data

We do not store your original input data (names, dates of birth, etc.). Only hashed values are stored for result caching. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

  • iMee Pro is a monthly subscription at $4.99/month (or regional equivalent).
  • Payments are processed through Stripe Inc. We do not store your credit card information.
  • You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Refunds are handled per Stripe's refund policy.
  • We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with prior notice.

6. AI-Generated Content

  • All diagnostic results are generated by AI (Claude by Anthropic).
  • Results are unique to each input but are not scientifically validated.
  • We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated content.
  • The same input may produce different results at different times.

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Service — including design, logos, code, content, diagnostic logic, and prompt design — belong to iMee. Users may freely use and share their diagnostic results for personal use and on social media. Commercial use or redistribution requires prior written permission.

8. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use automated tools, scrapers, or bots for mass access
  • Reverse engineer or gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Impersonate other users
  • Use the Service for illegal activities or to harass others
  • Use diagnostic results for discrimination, defamation, or harassment
  • Place excessive load on our APIs or servers

9. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We are not liable for any damages arising from actions taken based on AI-generated content.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or third-party service failures.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Service Changes & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of significant changes.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
